Santa Maria ad Ogni Bene dei Sette Dolori

The church stands at Via Francesco Girardi with an exterior staircase made of piperno stone and a two-tiered facade facing the former Santissima Trinità convent.

The structure began as a rural shrine in 1411, transformed into a chapel dedicated to Santa Maria d'Ognibene, and later expanded into a convent following the 1516 plague.

The interior contains paintings by Paolo de Matteis, Mattia Preti, and Silvestro Buono, with a statue of Our Lady of Sorrows positioned above the main altar.

Visitors can access the church through the baroque staircase at Via Francesco Girardi 59, where they can observe the straight decumanus across Naples.

The church floor features majolica tiles installed in 1752, while the renowned sculptor Cosimo Fanzago rests within its walls in an unmarked location.
