Nuraghe Is Paras

The trilobate defensive structure features a central tower with a diameter of 12.5 meters and three additional towers connected by stone walls.

During the 15th century BC, this nuraghe contained the largest dome in the ancient world until the construction of the tomb of Atreus.

The complex layout of chambers and passages within Nuraghe Is Paras demonstrates the advanced architectural knowledge of the Nuragic civilization in Sardinia.

Between April and October, visitors can access the site daily from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 until sunset, while winter visits require appointments.

The central tower houses a circular well and preserved spiral staircase that once led to an upper chamber, illustrating the building's internal organization.
