Palais Brancaccio

Palazzo Brancaccio is a three-story noble residence in Naples featuring classical architecture, an ornate ashlar portal, and a spacious garden at the rear. The building contains several specialized rooms including the Grand Hall, Hall of Angels, Red Hall, and Gallery of Mirrors designed for various purposes.

The palace incorporates the ancient Tower of Maecenas, a structure from the Roman period under Emperor Nero. This tower from antiquity was later built into the residence as the building took its current form.

The interiors reflect the work of decorator Francesco Gai, who created elaborate wall paintings and integrated restored ancient artworks throughout the rooms. Visitors can see how these details shaped the residence as a home for a wealthy family.
