Palazzo dei Priori, Medieval palace in Narni, Italy
The palace exhibits a central octagonal pillar supporting vaulted arches, with a loggia and town crier balcony adorning its stone facade.
Built in the thirteenth century on the ancient Roman forum, the palace served as the residence of urban magistrates during medieval times.
The walls display numerous inscriptions, frescoes, and the Orsini family emblem, reflecting the architectural styles of medieval Umbria.
The first floor contains the Entity of Corsa all'Anello and a museum of medieval costumes, while the ground floor houses the Digipass.
Iron rings mounted on the facade mark the location of a medieval pillory used for public punishment in the town square.
