Palazzo della Sapienza, Renaissance palace in Pisa, Italy

The three-story palace occupies an entire block near Lungarno Pacinotti, featuring a symmetrical portico and a white internal courtyard from the 1500s.

Lorenzo de Medici initiated construction in 1486 to centralize education facilities, with Cosimo I de Medici completing the project and reopening the university in 1543.

The Faculty of Law and University Library building stands as a center of academic life, hosting numerous exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year.

Located at Via Curtatone e Montanara 15, the university library opens Monday through Wednesday from 9:30 to 17:30 and Thursday through Friday from 9:30 to 13:30.

The palace underwent extensive restoration following the 2012 Emilia earthquake and reopened in 2018 with enhanced structural reinforcements and preserved historical elements.
