The Turin University Botanical Garden extends across 2.6 hectares, featuring alpine gardens, greenhouses, and a grove with native and international plant species.

The garden originated in 1560 at Studio di Mondovì before moving to Turin in 1566, with its current location established in 1713 by Victor Amadeus II.

The garden maintains a collection of 2,000 plant species, contributing to botanical research and education through its partnership with the University of Turin.

Visitors can access the garden during weekends and holidays in warm months, exploring various sections including medicinal plants, fruit trees, and wetland vegetation.

The garden houses specialized greenhouses constructed between 2005 and 2006 dedicated to South African flora, alongside tropical collections of bromeliads and orchids.
