The San Giovanni Evangelista exhibits three naves and a bell tower reaching 45 meters in height along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.
Edoardo Arborio Mella designed this church, which opened its doors in 1882 after a construction period that started with the foundation stone in 1878.
The interior features a 3600-pipe organ built by Giuseppe Bernasconi and contains encaustic paintings by artists Carlo Costa, Enrico Reffo, and Giuseppe Rollini.
The church maintains regular services from Monday to Saturday between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, with additional Sunday hours from 8:00 AM and evening sessions.
Two significant mosaics created by the Musiva Society of Venice decorate the entrance portal and central trifora, depicting the Redeemer and Saint John's Apotheosis.
