Orto Botanico dell'Università di Torino

The Botanical Garden of Turin University is a garden museum with multiple sections displaying various plant types, including those from temperate and tropical zones. The grounds are divided into different areas encompassing herb gardens, greenhouses, and open green spaces with native and foreign species.

This place originated in the 16th century at a different location before later moving to Turin. The current layout took its present form in the 1700s when significant reorganization took place.

A special area here focuses on plants from southern Africa, a collection many visitors overlook. This specialized section displays species adapted to dry conditions and stands out distinctly from the damper areas.
