Fondazione Luzzati – Teatro della Tosse

Fondazione Luzzati is a theatre company and cultural foundation based in central Genoa that operates multiple performance spaces throughout the city. It regularly presents theatrical productions and artistic events at locations including Teatro Sant'Agostino and Teatro del Ponente.

Three artists - Tonino Conte, Emanuele Luzzati, and Aldo Trionfo - founded the theatre company in 1975, naming it after its original location on Salita della Tosse. Over the decades, the organization has grown into one of the region's most important cultural institutions.

The foundation preserves an extensive archive of Emanuele Luzzati's work, featuring theatre designs, animations, illustrations, and sculptures created throughout his career. Visitors can encounter these artistic pieces in exhibitions and gain insight into how they shaped the local theatre and arts scene.
