Temple of Athena

The Temple of Athena is an ancient Greek sanctuary distinguished by its characteristic Doric columns with mathematically precise proportions and structural techniques. The temple was constructed between 426 and 421 BC on a strategic bastion at the southwestern edge of the Acropolis, replacing earlier religious structures at that location.
