Villa Patrizi, 18th-century villa in Naples, Italy

Villa Patrizi features a courtyard with porticos, carriage spaces, horse stables, and multiple rooms decorated with frescoed walls and vaulted ceilings.

In 1766, Marquis Pietro Patrizi of Ripacandida purchased the villa from Francesco Palomba, adding a chapel and a small theater to the existing structure.

During the early 1800s, the villa hosted numerous cultural events and performances attended by European aristocracy, including Emperor Joseph II and poet August von Platen.

The villa, located at Via Manzoni 41 in Naples, currently serves as a venue for meetings, exhibitions, and conferences.

The villa contains the only intact example of an 18th-century palace theater in Southern Italy, complete with an original curtain depicting the allegory of the Muses.
