Villa Rizzardi, Baroque villa in Negrar di Valpolicella, Italy.

Villa Rizzardi is a Baroque villa in Negrar di Valpolicella with a horseshoe-shaped floor plan and three stories arranged symmetrically. The main building sits within extensive grounds containing garden structures, walkways, and viewing areas.

The Rizzardi family acquired the property in the 17th century, and the villa underwent major redesign in the 19th century. This renovation established the symmetrical layout and structural form visible today.

The grounds feature shaped hedges forming an outdoor theater, a small temple, and covered galleries that reflect Venetian garden traditions. Visitors walk through spaces designed for both viewing and contemplation.

The property is best explored on foot, with maintained paths connecting all areas and sections. Comfortable footwear is advised, as there is considerable ground to cover throughout the visit.

Spanish sculptor Miguel Berrocal made this his creative studio for decades, producing significant works within its spaces. During World War II, the property also served to protect artworks from a nearby museum.
