Pieve di San Floriano

Pieve di San Floriano is a Romanesque church in San Pietro in Cariano featuring an interior divided into three naves separated by pillars alternating with columns. The entire facade is built from tuff stone, while the bell tower displays alternating rows of tuff and terracotta blocks in its upper sections.

The current structure was built in the 11th and 12th centuries, replacing an earlier building at a site with deep religious roots. Historic records document a Lombard parish existing here since 905, showing how long this sacred place has served the community.
