Villa Vistarenni

Villa Vistarenni is a mansion in the Chianti Classico region situated on elevated ground with a distinctive double staircase at its front. The building contains seven guest rooms, a wine cellar available for tours, and an outdoor swimming pool.

The structure was originally a fortress first recorded in 1033 in documents from the monastery of Badia a Coltibuono. It underwent transformation from medieval form to Renaissance style during the Pianigiani family period.

The name comes from the people who have rented and worked the land here for generations. The residence displays frescoes and painted ceilings throughout its rooms that reflect the daily life of those who inhabited it.

The property is situated roughly 60 kilometers from Florence Peretola Airport and surrounded by rolling countryside. The accommodation offers breakfast, cellar access, and internet in public areas to all guests.

The property contains a private chapel dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene of Pazzi with 1584 carved into its stonework. This small church served as a burial site for members of the Sonnino family.
