Villa di Bellosguardo, Renaissance villa in Bellosguardo hills, Florence, Italy.

The Villa di Bellosguardo stands atop a hill south of Florence, featuring a 13th-century tower and extensive gardens overlooking the city skyline and Tuscan landscape.

The villa passed to the Franchetti family in 1913 when the grandmother of current owner Barone Amerigo Franchetti acquired the property, maintaining its Renaissance heritage.

The villa displays architectural elements from the Renaissance period, including vaulted wood ceilings, carved stone fireplaces, frescoes, and numerous Florentine antique furnishings.

Located fifteen minutes by foot from Santo Spirito neighborhood, the villa functions as a hotel with sixteen rooms and provides cooking classes focused on Tuscan cuisine.

The guest book dating from 1920 contains signatures of notable visitors including Emma Thompson, Kate Moss, and Daniel Day Lewis who stayed at the property.
