Punta Larici

Punta Larici is a mountain summit at Lake Garda in Italy, rising 907 meters above sea level. Limestone cliffs and steep gullies drop sharply toward the water, creating the dramatic profile of this peak.

The name Punta Larici comes from the larch trees that grow on the slopes and shape the landscape here. As you climb, you can spot these distinctive trees and understand how the local environment influenced the place's name.

The hike starts from Pregasina village and takes roughly one hour and 45 minutes for the round trip. The path is walkable but steady, requiring moderate fitness for a comfortable climb.

From the summit, the ground drops more than 100 meters straight down to Lake Garda's waters, creating a dramatic vertical view. This extreme exposure gives visitors an unusual sensation of height and space above the lake.
