Parco del Sojo, Art and nature museum in Lusiana Conco, Italy.
Parco del Sojo is an art and nature museum on the southern edge of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni plateau, containing around eighty contemporary artworks woven into the natural landscape. The installations spread across the grounds, creating a route where art and nature exist side by side.
The land has been inhabited since the Neolithic period, with the distinctive Sojo rock formation serving as a historical landmark for the region. This geological feature has long defined the character and significance of the area.
Contemporary artists from Italy and elsewhere have created installations using wood, stone, metal, bronze, ceramics, and stoneware throughout the grounds. These works sit naturally within the landscape, encouraging visitors to think about art and nature together.
Advance reservation is required at least two days before visiting, arranged through email or WhatsApp messaging. The best experience comes on dry days, as the park is spread across open terrain where sturdy footwear helps you move comfortably.
The park thoughtfully preserves the delicate balance between artistic expression and the natural environment without compromising the landscape. Visitors often find themselves surprised by how organically the contemporary works integrate into the existing terrain.
