South Tyrolean Museum of Culture and Provincial History

The museum is reached by a walking path of about 30 minutes from Tirolo village, which passes by striking stone formations. The path is well marked and offers nice views of the surroundings along the way.

The castle contains medieval artworks, including an altar work from the 14th century that is among the oldest examples of its kind in the Alps. These religious objects have been preserved in their original location and give visitors a direct sense of religious life in that era.
