Municipio XII

Municipio XII is an administrative district in Rome that encompasses seven urban neighborhoods with varying sizes and characteristics. These areas include Colli Portuensi and Villa Pamphili, each contributing distinct features to the western section of the city.

This district took its current form in 2013 when Rome restructured its administrative divisions, reducing the total number of municipal districts. The area was previously designated as Municipio XVI before being renamed and reorganized.

The district spreads across neighborhoods where residents maintain distinct lifestyles and community traditions that shape daily life. Each area develops its own rhythm, from quiet residential streets to more active commercial zones.

The district is accessible by public transportation, with various bus stops and metro stations connecting the different neighborhoods throughout the area. Keep in mind that infrastructure and local amenities vary depending on which neighborhood you are visiting.
