Ponte della Pistolesa

The Pistolesa Bridge spans 350 meters across the Poala Valley, connecting the municipalities of Veglio and Mosso at a height of 152 meters.

Constructed in 1973, the bridge replaced an old road connecting Veglio and Mosso that suffered severe damage during the 1968 flood.

A small open-air museum near the bridge displays panels documenting the structure's evolution from its construction to present times.

The bridge features a single carriageway with lanes in both directions, serving as part of Provincial Road 105 between Andorno and Mosso Santa Maria.

Since the 1990s, the bridge, nicknamed Colossus, houses Italy's first permanent bungee jumping center, which has recorded over 50,000 jumps.
