Palazzo Ranuzzi, Renaissance palace in Bologna, Italy

The three-story Palazzo Ranuzzi features a grand elliptical staircase, multiple decorated halls, and intricate ceiling frescoes depicting allegorical figures and seasonal themes.

Carlo Ruini commissioned the construction in the late 1500s, and the Ranuzzi family acquired it in 1679, implementing substantial modifications until 1822.

The interior spaces showcase works by Italian masters, including frescoes by Marco Antonio Franceschini and architectural elements by Ferdinando Galli-Bibiena.

The palace now functions as Bologna's Court of Appeals, with its central location at coordinates 44.488349, 11.343177 providing access to visitors.

The Galleria contains painted decorations that illustrate the medicinal properties of thermal waters from Porretta, a location connected to the Ranuzzi family since 1482.
