History
The palazzo was completed in 1886 by architect Luca Beltrami as a dedicated space for art exhibitions in Milan. Between 1940 and 1953, architects Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni carried out major modifications that modernized its function as an exhibition venue.
Culture
The Society for Fine Arts and Permanent Exhibition operates this institution, organizing exhibitions that present both Italian and international contemporary art.
Practical
The building is centrally located and easy to reach, with regular opening hours throughout the year. Visitors should check timing before arriving, as hours may extend during special exhibitions or events.

The redesign by the Castiglioni brothers was notably innovative, blending modernist design with the existing eclectic structure. This rare combination created a hybrid building that reflects both architectural periods.
