Palazzo della Permanente

Palazzo della Permanente is an art exhibition palace in Milan with eclectic architectural elements that blend various styles throughout its spaces. The generous halls inside are specifically designed to display contemporary artworks and provide flexible exhibition areas.

The palazzo was completed in 1886 by architect Luca Beltrami as a dedicated space for art exhibitions in Milan. Between 1940 and 1953, architects Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni carried out major modifications that modernized its function as an exhibition venue.

The Society for Fine Arts and Permanent Exhibition operates this institution, organizing exhibitions that present both Italian and international contemporary art.
