Porticus Divorum, Archaeological site in Campus Martius, Rome, Italy
The Porticus Divorum consists of a rectangular complex measuring 220 meters long and 55 meters wide, featuring multiple columns along its perimeter.
Emperor Domitian constructed the Porticus Divorum around 80 CE to honor emperors Titus and Vespasian, replacing the previous Villa Publica structure.
The complex contained two small temples dedicated to deified emperors, reflecting the Roman practice of emperor worship and religious ceremonies.
The archaeological remains reveal a northern entrance with three arches leading to the temple area, with water channels running through the western edge.
The site features two rows of 13 trees on the western side and a combination of 12 and 11 trees on the eastern side, creating shaded walkways.
