Dating back to 850 BC, this burial site reflects the customs and practices of central Sicilian communities during the eighth century before Christ.
The rock-cut chambers within the necropolis demonstrate how ancient societies in Sicily constructed both family and individual burial spaces for their deceased.
Visitors can reach the site by following Strada Statale 290 north from Calascibetta, then turning right onto Strada Provinciale 80 for 700 meters.
