Sardagna waterfall is a natural cascade on the western side of Trento, dropping roughly 100 meters from rocky cliffs. The water plunges down to the river level below, creating a visible flow against the rock face.

Visitors can reach the waterfall from Trento's city center by walking past the railway station and passing through a tunnel toward the riverside. The best vantage point is from the river level below, where the full drop of water is visible.
Water flow changes noticeably with the seasons, with spring bringing the heaviest cascade. In drier months, the waterfall becomes a thin stream, quite different from its peak appearance.
