The villa served as a literary salon and residence for Elisabetta Turra Caminer, the first female journalist in Italy during the 18th century.

The property maintains a museum dedicated to rural life, displaying agricultural tools, carpentry equipment, and artifacts from the 19th century.

The kitchen preserves a 16th-century red Verona marble sink designed by architect Farinati, which Napoleon considered relocating to the Louvre.
