The Museo archeologico di Palazzo Cappellani houses ancient artifacts from the Sicilian region, including marble statues, red-figure pottery, and carved stone faces. Objects come from excavations at nearby archaeological sites and fill the rooms of a restored palace building.

The palazzo building was acquired by the Sicilian Region in the 1960s and later adapted to serve as a museum space. It officially opened to the public in December 2014.

The collection features materials from prehistory to the Byzantine era, with artifacts originating from archaeological sites of Akrai, Kasmene, and Leontinoi.
