Villa Orlando

Villa Orlando is a Gothic Revival manor that stretches along the shoreline of Lake Massaciuccoli, with a crenelated tower rising as a distinctive landmark. The estate features a tower offering lake views, stone lions flanking the grand staircase entrance, and expansive grounds dotted with mature pine trees.

The property was built in 1869 as a hunting lodge and underwent significant transformation when acquired by Salvatore Orlando in 1896. Under his stewardship, the gardens were expanded and a pine forest was planted, shaping the landscape that remains today.

The Music Room houses the piano of composer Giacomo Puccini, reflecting the villa's connection to the local artistic scene of that era. Visitors can explore this intimate space and discover how music played a role in the social life here.
