Magazzini Duilio 48

The two-story rectangular structure features pillars creating display windows on the southern side, with curvilinear windows on the upper floor and decorative wrought-iron railings.

Built between 1927 and 1930 following the 1917 fire in Viareggio, the building emerged during an urban reconstruction period that transformed the wooden coastal structures.

The structure represented a branch of Emporio Duilio 48, founded by Joseph Siebzehner, who introduced Italy's first mail-order catalog and fixed-price retail concept.

Located at Viale Regina Margherita 25, the building maintains its original layout with a ground-floor commercial space and residential areas accessible through a rear staircase.

In the 1990s, the building transformed into the Liberty Store, specializing in music and video games, while preserving its historical exterior features.
