Spiaggia di Acquarilli

A secluded stretch of dark volcanic shingle and pebbles extends along the southern coast of Elba, forming a horseshoe-shaped bay with clear waters.

The municipality of Capoliveri officially designated Acquarilli as a naturist beach in 2015, following years of informal use by clothing-optional bathers.

The beach naturally divides into two sections separated by rocks, with naturist areas on one side and traditional beachgoers on the other side.

Visitors need to navigate a steep 100-meter descent from the parking area, and should bring supplies as there are no facilities on the beach.

The black sand and pebbles of volcanic origin create a stark contrast with the surrounding green cliffs and bright blue Mediterranean waters.
