Castello di Mola, Norman fortress in Castelmola, Italy.

The castle stands on a rocky hill with remaining Norman walls forming a concave shape that resembles a millstone near Taormina in Sicily.

A Greek-Byzantine plaque from the 10th century indicates the castle construction under Constantine, who served as patrician and strategist of Sicily.

The Museum of the Sicilian Middle Ages within the castle walls presents regional artifacts and historical exhibits about medieval life in Sicily.

Visitors enter through an ancient stone arch that leads to Piazza S. Antonino, constructed with white lava stones and lined with local trees.

The castle entrance features a 1578 inscription above its arch displaying three towers and declaring Castle Faithful to His Majesty.
