Giax Tower, Residential tower in Dergano, Milan, Italy
Giax Tower is a residential building in the Dergano neighborhood that rises with a facade of glass and metal across 25 above-ground floors. The structure includes modern apartments and two basement levels for parking and utilities.
Construction started in 2011 and finished in 2013, with the official opening in 2014. The project responded to growing demand for modern housing in northern Milan.
The tower reflects Milan's commitment to modern architecture through its glass-dominated lobby and sophisticated residential spaces.
Access to the apartments is through elevators from a climate-controlled lobby, and visitors find ample parking in the basement levels. The complex also offers a wellness center with a swimming pool, spa, and fitness studio available to residents.
The building uses solar panels on its roofs and a geothermal heating system for the swimming pool to reduce energy consumption. These sustainable features make it an example of environmentally conscious construction in the city.
