Parco Nicolò Savarino, Public park in Dergano district, Milan, Italy

Parco Nicolò Savarino is a green space in the Dergano neighborhood featuring walkways, seating areas, and shaded spots throughout. Multiple entrances provide access to the grounds at any time during daylight hours.

The site was originally named after a physician and connected to a hospital that served smallpox patients through 1970. It later became a public park and received its current name as a tribute in 2013.

The park is named after Nicolò Savarino, a local police officer struck and killed by a car on 12 January 2012 during a check; the driver, a minor, fled and was later arrested with an accomplice. Until 2013 the garden was named after the naturalist Agostino Bassi.

The park is bounded by viale Jenner and the streets Livigno, Collegno and Guerzoni, north of Milan's northern outer ring road. A roughly 700-metre running circuit links the paths laid out on the 1898 plan. Two fenced areas are set aside for dogs, and the northern part, near the old tiled-roof buildings, is the least frequented.

The northern, least-visited part of the park, near buildings with tiled roofs and eaves, has become a small bird refuge. Night raptors such as the little owl (civetta) nest there, alongside crows, rooks, swallows, redstarts, flycatchers and great tits, species otherwise rare in Milan.
