Villa in the Zappa Valley, Hunting lodge in Campagna Lupia, Italy

The Casone di Valle Zappa combines Northern European architectural elements with a watchtower, barchessa, and rooms painted in different colors throughout the structure.

Between 1923 and 1928, architect Duilio Torres designed this eclectic building for entrepreneur Mario Malvezzi, incorporating Dutch farmhouse architectural influences.

Ernest Hemingway and Salvador Dali visited this lodge, which later served as a filming location for the 1976 movie Portrait of the Bourgeoisie in Black.

Visitors can reach the property through water routes from Chioggia or Venice, or by taking the dirt road connecting to SS309 Romea state road.

The ground floor rooms feature fireplaces decorated with Venetian dialect proverbs, while each room's color corresponds to specific hunting positions.
