Fontana del Gigante, Renaissance fountain in Piazza del Duomo, Carrara, Italy.
The central marble fountain features a large Neptune figure standing atop two dolphins that spout fresh spring water into a basin below.
The fountain structure was erected in 1563 using an unfinished statue carved by sculptor Baccio Bandinelli thirty years earlier for Andrea Doria.
