Al Hussein Public Parks, Public park in Amman, Jordan

Al Hussein Public Parks is a park in Amman, Jordan, with a landscaped garden covering 70 acres (280,000 m2) on a hillside. It includes water elements, trees, plants, and mastabas of various heights, plus sites representing historical periods. The park also has a cultural village, sports fields, a memorial building, an amphitheater, a circular yard, the Royal Automobile Museum, the King Hussein Mosque, and The Children's Museum Jordan.

Al Hussein Public Parks opened in 2005 on 750 dunams of land about 1,000 metres above sea level near Amman's medical city. The landscaped garden, covering 280,000 square metres, was built by Engineering Universe for Building and Contracting and completed in 2006.

The Cultural Village is a square ringed by shops selling Jordanian handicrafts, meant to present the country's heritage to Jordanians and visitors. Along a 488-metre wall runs a mural of Jordan's history, from the earliest human presence in the area to the present, each section marking a historical event. It is made of marble, granite, iron, bronze, ceramic tile and pottery.

The landscaped garden covers 70 acres on a hillside, with water elements, trees and mastabas at different heights. Stone bleachers in the sports area seat 150 spectators. The entrance is marked by pale tan stone gate structures with curved archways and white pyramid-shaped canopies.

The 488-metre mural on the park wall traces Jordan's history from the earliest human presence in the region to the present, with each section marking a historical event. It is made of marble, granite, iron, bronze, ceramic tile and pottery.
