Al Hussein Public Parks

Al Hussein Public Parks is a large green space in central Amman containing landscaped gardens, water features, trees, and tiered terraces. The grounds include sports facilities and recreational areas distributed across the property.

The park opened in 2006 as part of an initiative to add green spaces to central Amman. It has since become an established public gathering place for the city.

The Cultural Village area displays traditional Jordanian handicraft vendors and a long mural that illustrates the country's development across different periods. These cultural features give visitors a sense of how local artistry and history remain part of daily park life.

The park is open daily and has pathways for walking with designated areas for different sports activities. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes and the best time to explore is early morning or late afternoon.

The central plaza features an unusual pattern made of tiles, sand, and grass sections that creates a distinctive look. This area regularly hosts national celebrations and events throughout the year.
