Dibeen Forest Reserve, Protected forest reserve in Jerash Governorate, Jordan
The reserve extends across 8.5 square kilometers of mountainous terrain with Aleppo pines and oak trees throughout its rolling hills and valleys.
The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature established the reserve in 2004 to protect the remaining pine-oak forests of northern Jordan.
The forest serves as an educational center where visitors learn about conservation efforts and the protection of Jordan's native plant species.
Marked hiking trails wind through the reserve, with a visitor center providing information about the local flora, fauna, and available guided tours.
The reserve contains seventeen endangered species, including the Persian squirrel, and represents the southeastern limit of natural Aleppo pine growth.
