Fujimi

Fujimi extends across 19.77 square kilometers of the Kanto plain, with the Arakawa and Shingashi Rivers flowing through its northeastern lowlands at 8 to 21 meters elevation.

The municipal organization of Fujimi emerged through the 1956 consolidation of Tsuruse, Nanbata, and Mizutani villages, later gaining city status in 1972 from Iruma District.

The population of 112,211 residents participates in seasonal festivals and agricultural activities, maintaining connections with local farming traditions through harvesting experiences.

Transportation networks include the Tobu Tojo Line railway stations and direct access to National Routes 254 and 463, connecting residents to Tokyo within 30 kilometers.
