Fuefuki

Fuefuki extends across 201 square kilometers of central Yamanashi Prefecture, with the Fuefuki River flowing through forests that cover 58 percent of its territory.

The modern city of Fuefuki emerged on October 12, 2004, through the consolidation of multiple towns and villages in the former center of Kai Province.

The Isawa Onsen Fireworks Festival marks the city's incorporation with synchronized drone displays and traditional performances along the Fuefuki River banks.

Visitors can access Fuefuki via the Chūō Main Line railway system and multiple national routes that connect to the Chūō Expressway network.

The city maintains the status of Japan's largest peach producer, with extensive orchards yielding premium fruit throughout the growing season.
