Shiga Prefectural Zeze High School is an educational institution in Ōtsu located within walking distance of Lake Biwa, serving around 1,300 students. The campus houses both general and specialized science programs within modern buildings completed in 2006.
The school was founded on May 13, 1898, as Shiga Prefectural Daini Jinjo Middle School and went through several name changes during the 20th century. In 1956, the institution received its current name Zeze High School.
The school follows the motto 'Jyungi-Ryokkou,' emphasizing the path of honor and personal dedication, while offering 37 different clubs for student development.
