Furuse Station was a railway stop on the Nemuro Main Line in Hokkaido, marked as station K46. The small halt sat between Onbetsu and Shiranuka stations, serving local train traffic without express service.
The station opened on July 1, 1954, to improve train connections in the Shiranuka region. After nearly 70 years of operation, it closed in March 2020.
The station functioned as a local transportation point connecting residents of Shiranuka to neighboring communities through regular rail services.
The halt is located in a rural area between two larger railway stations. Today, the site is only reachable on foot as a historical location since service has ceased.
