Kamo district, Administrative district in Gifu Prefecture, Japan
The Kamo district spans across 615 square kilometers of land, containing seven distinct municipalities including Sakahogi, Tomika, and Yaotsu.
Established on February 18, 1879, the district underwent significant changes when multiple villages merged to form Sakahogi village in April 1897.
Each municipality within the district maintains its own festivals, with Yaotsu organizing regular events that demonstrate local traditions.
