Anamizu

Anamizu is a coastal town situated on the southeastern shore of the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture. The community spreads across rolling terrain that slopes toward the ocean, with homes and shops clustered near the waterfront and along main roads.

The settlement developed during periods of conflict between regional clans who competed for control of the Noto territory. Authority eventually passed to a single domain that brought more stability to the area during the early modern period.
