Miyaki district, Administrative district in Saga Prefecture, Japan

The district covers 86.82 square kilometers of land in eastern Saga Prefecture and contains three municipalities: Kamimine, Kiyama, and Miyaki.

The district emerged from the consolidation of three former regions of Hizen Province - Kii, Mine, and Yabu Districts - during the administrative reforms of 1896.

The district maintains strong connections to Japanese ceramics production, with local manufacturers contributing to the regional artistic traditions of Saga Prefecture.

The district accommodates 54,233 residents across its territory, featuring a population density of 625 people per square kilometer as recorded in 2009.

Miyaki town, within the district, stands as the first municipality in Saga Prefecture to adopt hiragana script instead of kanji for its official name.
