Nishishinjuku Mitsui Building

The Nishishinjuku Mitsui Building is a 27-story office tower distinguished by its curtain-wall facade of blue-green tinted glass and earth-toned tile panels that create a cool, contemporary appearance. Its height and angular geometry help define the western portion of Shinjuku's skyline.

The building was completed in 1999 as part of a major urban redevelopment project in the Nishishinjuku 6-chome West District 1, which modernized the western side of Shinjuku. This initiative transformed what had been an overlooked area into a contemporary business hub.

The ground-floor lobby serves as a social gathering space within the business district, hosting regular concerts and cultural events that bring communal moments to this office-focused area.
