Pyongyang TV Tower, Communication tower in Moranbong-guyok, North Korea.
The concrete television tower rises 150 meters above Kaeson Park, featuring multiple broadcast platforms and an observation deck at 94 meters high.
Built in 1967, the tower marked the beginning of color television broadcasts in North Korea and improved signal reception throughout the region.
The tower represents North Korean technological development, with its design drawing inspiration from Moscow's Ostankino Tower construction methods.
Visitors can access the observation deck and restaurant areas, which offer complete views of Pyongyang's urban landscape from different angles.
The structure contains specialized broadcasting equipment at four different levels: 34.5, 65, 67.5, and 85 meters above ground.
