Dankook University Seokjuseon Memorial Museum, Museum on the campus of Dankook University in Jukjeon-dong, Yongin, South Korea

The Dankook University Seokjuseon Memorial Museum is a museum on the campus of Dankook University in Jukjeon-dong, Yongin, South Korea. It is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Seokjuseon and holds collections focused on traditional Korean dress, textiles, and folk customs.

The museum opened in 1967 and is closely linked to Dr. Seokjuseon, a scholar who devoted his career to studying traditional Korean dress and folk customs. In 1981, he donated over 3,300 traditional Korean costumes to the museum, shaping the core of the collection.

The collection features traditional Korean clothing, textiles, and jewelry from different periods. Many of these objects were worn in daily life or during ceremonies, making them tangible records of how people lived.

The museum sits on the Dankook University campus and is easy to reach on foot from most parts of the university. Visiting on a weekday is a good idea, as the building tends to be quieter and more comfortable to walk through.

Although the museum specializes in traditional dress, it also offers online exhibitions on topics such as Joseon Dynasty fashion and the life of the last princess of the Joseon royal family. These digital displays allow visitors to explore parts of the collection without traveling to the campus.
