Cathedral of Saint John

The Cathedral of Saint John combines Gothic and modern architectural elements with a grand central nave and tall stained glass windows throughout the structure.

The religious center opened its doors on January 7, 1993, and received its dedication to Saint John the Apostle in October 2003 within the Diocese of Suwon.

The cathedral features an extensive spiral mural depicting biblical narratives from Genesis through the Acts of the Apostles along its winding staircase.

The cathedral maintains regular mass schedules and provides religious services to the Catholic community of Seongnam through its central location in Bundang-dong.

The Karl Schuke organ from Berlin contains 5,124 pipes across 65 stops, making it one of the largest church organs in South Korea.
