Tancheon Sports Complex is a sports venue in Seongnam, South Korea, built along the banks of the Tancheon River. It features a main stadium with seating and dedicated training areas for different sports disciplines.
Construction of the main stadium began in 1997, and it opened on 1 April 2002. The complex was called Seongnam 2 Sports Complex until January 2006, when it took the name of the nearby Tancheon stream. Its first football match was a friendly between Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma and Poland on 26 May 2002.
The stadium is nicknamed the Tancheon Fortress (Tancheon Yosae) for Seongnam FC's strong home record in AFC Champions League matches. The club's colours appear on street lamp banners around the ground, and a merchandise store sits near the west entrance.
The venue is easy to reach by public transport and has parking available for those arriving by car. Arriving a little early on event days is a good idea, as the surrounding area can get busy.
