Rolling X Train, Steel roller coaster in Everland Resort, South Korea.
Rolling X Train is a steel roller coaster at Everland Resort featuring four inversions including vertical loops and a double corkscrew along its 700-meter track. Each train holds 28 riders across seven cars arranged in two rows of seats.
This ride was built originally for the 1988 Seoul Olympics under the name Double Loop and Cork Screw. It received new trains from Vekoma in 2004 as part of ongoing upgrades.
The roller coaster represents South Korea's commitment to entertainment infrastructure development during the country's emergence as a global destination in the 1980s.
The ride reaches speeds around 70 kilometers per hour with heights of about 30 meters. Visitors should review the pre-ride safety information and ensure they meet any height or health restrictions.
The track color scheme was changed in 2010 from pink with white supports to white with grey supports. This visual refresh gave the ride a more contemporary look.
